Job Title: Desktop Support Engineer

Role Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Desktop Support Engineer to join our IT team.

The role involves providing technical assistance, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of desktop systems across the organization. Dealing with customer contact points and ensuring their satisfaction is a key requirement of the role.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
  • Respond to support tickets, diagnose problems, and resolve technical issues promptly.
  • Provide remote and on-site support to end-users.
  • Install and update operating systems and application software.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and profiles.
  • Maintain asset inventory of IT equipment.
  • Educate users on basic troubleshooting and best practices.
  • Ensure all tasks comply with IT policies and security standards.

 Required Skills:

  • Experience on configuring devices to connect to corporate domain
  • Installation of MS Office, Antivirus, any other software
  • Knowledge of Windows operating systems (installation, configuration, troubleshooting)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and common desktop applications
  • Knowledge of Active Directory (user account creation, permissions)
  • Ability to install, upgrade, and maintain hardware (PCs, laptops, printers, peripherals)
  • Basic understanding of antivirus, backup, and security tools

Experience:   1-4 Years

Minimum academic qualifications: Any Graduate or Diploma
